1984.
TSOL and the Crucifucks came down together after playing the farewell,
closing show at Mad Gardens in Phoenix the night before. TSOL was a
reformed version of themselves and had used a pile of flag waving imagery
and their singer thought he was Jim Morrison. At least thats how I saw
saw it. Crucifucks however, fucked with people like no other band. They
shortcircuited a few hardcore kids' brains, playing tempos and making
changes that "shouldnt be done". Always generated at least
a few "fuck you"s from the audience. Great band. Makes sense
that they were on Jello's label, Alternative Tentacles.
