And so it went: arguably the best punk venue that ever existed was closed
down by the mustachio'ed donut eaters. But it went out with a bang:
this show the fire regs and drinking were ignored and everyone
did what they wanted. And you guessed it: nobody got hurt, nobody got
stupid. Everyone just had a damn good time. JFA even composed a song
for the event and pressed a short run of 7"s which they gave out/sold
at the show (see following flyer). TSOL were macho, Crucifucks were
irreverant and pissed off people in the true sense of the word "punk"
while JFA, Conflict and a new project called Poets Corner were in top
form. Dang, if we all only had a clue as to how much worse 2004 would
be than even Orwell's 1984....
