VMH = Vic Morrows Head. Vic Morrow was an actor who was killed around that time filming a scene involving a helicopter. A running joke at the time had the macabre punchline "Vic Morrow's Head and Shoulders". No doubt these guys heard the joke. They were from Yuma and practiced in a metal trailer that was about 130 degrees (~55C) in the summer. Crazy Arizonans. The singer is still at it and in fact has an excellent band called Clusterfuck down in Tucson.
