East Los Angeles venue, The Vex. Some pretty impressive line-ups; seemingly everyday occurrances in LA in those days. A punk kid was shot near the Vex around May 1982, a week before Conflict accompanied JFA out there (on what became their ill-fated broken-down-bus tour). I got assaulted on Overland Avenue a few hours before the gig. Pretty unnerving.
